A low cost online tool allowing SME forwarders to send and receive electronic shipment data (such as e-AWB)
- IATA e-AWB 360 Workshop held on 26 April 2016
14 IATA member airlines signed up to the e-AWB360 campaign with an aim to accelerate the adoption of e-AWB in Hong Kong. These 14 airlines would switch over to e-AWB as the preferred means of shipping cargo to all destinations by using the e-AWB Single Process at HKG airport, effective 01 June 2016. - Stop Cargo IMP and Moving towards Cargo-XML message by the end of year 2014
In March 2010, the IATA Cargo Services Conference (CSC) and Cargo Agency Conference agreed that IATA will stop maintaining Cargo-IMP standard messages by end of 2014, maintaining only on Cargo-XML standard messages. This will not prevent anybody to continue using Cargo-IMP but no new Cargo-IMP versions will be released.
